I am born and I die !!

18 Oct

gifts

return-gifts

I take birth and I die.

‘To take birth’ and…. ‘to die’…. are two ‘activities’.

If I “take”  birth then I do an ‘activity’ which is called “taking” birth.

Can a ‘dead’ do an activity ?

And when I die, my body dies. The… “I”… continues.

Hence birth takes place but…. it is not the Beginning.

Death takes place but….. it is not the End  !!

Life is a Party. Your previous Life’s Karma is the ‘Gift’ you bring to the Party. This Gift …only…decides and qualifies… the treatment given to you…. “in the Party” !!

This life’s Karma is…. the ‘Return- Gift’  !!

Partying …..continues…..!!

Inviting …..continues…..!!

Gate-crashing continues  !!

What do you say ?

Waiting for your feedback, opinion, perspective……!!

Yours truly,

‘religiously’ religion-less and ‘religion-less-ly’ religious !!

Sir… It’s a nice post…. Much meaningful…… But then what do you think about this….. People say whatever you do today or in this life, you need to pay for it before you leave this world, in this life itself…….And then some say, about next birth, whatever your ancestors did, you have to pay in your life, some say it’s the third generation of you who would pay for you….. Or you have been paying for your previous third generation…… So many things people say….. And everybody does have a great mind…… All I believe is, live your life as it comes your way… And rest there is a power which would take care……. I’m sorry if I said something beyond my limits…..

No, no one pays for the Karma of the ancestors.
All the three major religions of the world agree that we are accountable for our deeds ( every Karma is a deed but every deed may or may not be…a Karma ) .
Some religions say we account for our deeds in our next birth some say we do it on the “Day of Judgement”.

So “accounting for deeds” is a common and accepted phenomena !!

If you want you may read my previous posts for more details :

Sir…..You are right…..what I meant is to live life as it comes, even if people say anything…… Nothing against your post or your thoughts….

“…what I meant is to live life as it comes…”.

I totally agree. That is possible once your deeds / acts… stop being your Karma !!

Sir…..one small example or may be a question…..we see cases like a woman after being married for 2-3 years, who has a 1 year old kid and everything is perfect and suddenly the woman looses her husband in an accident….. Now after the husband’s death, her life goes on like hell and miserable….. Here may be we can say about her, is her karma……but what about the 1year old child, what about him, why is he too suffering or linked to his mother’s suffering, when in that 1 year the child has not done any act……

      “…what about the 1 year old child,…”

As we say, “child is the father of man”. A child or a major, or a minor….all have souls the “I”.
“I” is neither old nor young but this “I” carries previous Karma and hence the suffering.

Great prophets, messengers all suffered because all had and carried Karma. This birth’s child could be previous births’ Jack the Ripper ( who knows ) !!

So again it’s about previous birth too…..But then why it’s said that, whatever we do we pay before we die or in this same life……

“…whatever we do we pay before we die…”

I wish it were that simple. But it is not. In fact that ‘timing of the fruit of our Karma’ makes it more painful.

We die and are reborn but the Creator does not die and what is more important…the “System”….the Creator’s System…..does not die.
The Creator Does not dial wrong numbers …we …assume that these are wrong numbers because we become judgmental ( “an innocent child is suffering” ) in judging His System.

Even when we don’t understand it….it remains a system which works but it works for Him. When it is His System why it should work for us ?

Synchronizing with / accepting, the System will be more convenient and less painful for us than judging it.
By being judgmental, we run the risk of being mental ( judge + mental).

The mystery behind the beginning or end of “I” is to remain, also the fruit of one’s “Karma”, no matter sweet, sour, tasteless, rotten, from this birth or another, one has to bear. Great thought! Great post!

Too good… How nicely and simply you portrayed the afterlife. In very simple words you wrote about a very deep philosophy. Kudos to you!

Very interesting and amusing, and so simple and deeply truthful 🙂 I am a little stuck on gate-crashing …kindly explain 🙂

      Thanks.

      Gate crashing :

These days ( especially in India ) children are not simply born….they are planned.
But those who are… destined….still find their way. They somehow steal, gatecrash, into the unwilling and unaware wombs.

    I like this:

Life is a Party. Your previous Life’s Karma is the ‘Gift’ you bring to the Party.

But on this — below — do you think that whenever people have troubles they have always brought it on themselves?
This Gift …only…decides and qualifies… the treatment given to you…. “in the Party” !!

Yes I am 100 % sure. Every one is not treated the same way.
“Fools” enjoy more than the “intelligentsia” ha…ha… !!
We judge everything on face value and so much suffering appears to
be unfair but it is strictly governed by “cause and effect”. Karma
      is the cause.
Otherwise, this Creation would appear to be an unwilling,
accidental happening by an equally unwilling and inefficient Creator.
I am too much of a believer to think that the Creator is inefficient
and my belief is scientific, not a religion-oriented one !!

Interesting post. I do believe in karma, even I also live in a realistic world.
I’m sure, that we need to pay for our stupidity in one or another way and sometimes I also wish, that karma would hit fast…
We are all born in different part of our world and I do believe, that fx in India, where women are treated very bad, if their husband die early. There I think, that the education is so much behind in the culture and not that everything is a part of karma.
These who are treating this women so badly, will later have to pay in their karma. Lack of knowledge is never an excuse, we all have a duty to learn all our life.

      Very well said, thanks !!

Suffering in life needs a second look, perspective and a paradigm shift because none of the prophets, avataars, messengers, led a comfortable life. They were fully in a position to choose and still they chose suffering over comforts.

We are all responsible for our own life and how we wish to live this life.
Often we become more awake after have been suffering in each our ways.
How to know joy without knowing sorrow?

I came very close to dying in childbirth. It totally changed my understanding of death. Now I am no longer afraid, having come so close already.

Why to fear death? It is an eternal part of life! And because of fear of death people die daily.
