Baalu Prasaar Yadav

h/o (husband of) Burfi Devi Yadav.

Supremo WPIP (Whichever Party in Power)

(Excerpts from an interview with Baalu Yadav.)

By TV Channel, Bhor& Bore-Well Live !!

Reporter Ms. Chipak :  Baalu Yadav ji, What is this – ’Baalu’?

Baalu :  Did I ask you Bhat iz thish Bhor& Bore- well Live? Or bhatt iz dis Chipak..wa?

Reporter  :   No no Baalu ji our viewers have asked this question.

Baalu :       Oh Bhewers that means voters ..ok, See this is a long story. When I was young, I fell in love with Burfy Devi. One day, I sent a love letter to her and when she replied, she handed over the letter to a little girl and told that girl to deliver the letter to “that man” who as she told, “is kanbaalu” or has more hair on his ears than his head. Over the years the name kind of got stuck and slowly became Baalu. When I was born my name was La Chara (the Fodder) because I was very fond of fodder. In fact, fodder is my first crush !

Reporter :   Oh my God ….ha..ha …ha what an interesting story.

Baalu :   Eh ..aie aye…take interbhew don’t enjoy. Bat iz next question?

Reporter :   Baalu ji are you satisfied with the present Tihar Pradesh government?

Baalu :   O this Notice Kumar government is useless,  all the times he is taking only notice and doing nothing. When I or your Aunty Burfy was the CM we took notice and notes both I mean we solved people’s problems and lessened their burden also.

Reporter :    Balu ji what advice you want to give to Rah-bhool  ji – our future PM.

Baalu :    Simple-  fall in love with a woman like your Aunty Burfy do some family planning

like me and eat some Chara( fodder).

Reporter   :    Baalu ji, people say you and Burfi ji did not develop Tihar Pradesh in your tenures.

Baalu   :    This Notice Kumar government has destroyed all the good work done by our government. We had a vision and that is, poverty and the ‘lack of facilities’ bring out the best in the people. Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji would not have become great had he been born in a rich family. Gandhi ji might not have been Gandhi ji had he been born in free India. Why Shri Dhiru Ambani  earned so much –because as a young man, he was poor. Notice Kumar is busy spoiling young generation’s habits. He is making them lazy. Nothing good and constructive can come out of it.

Reporter  :    Baalu ji what is your policy in politics and life ?

Baalu   :    My policy is Gandhiji’s policy – simple living and high thinking. I eat fodder and always think of becoming PM or CM. What better simple living and what better high thinking you can have than these two, still they have registered cases against me – the only true Gandhian left in the country!

Reporter :                 Baalu ji, don’t you feel embarrassed that you have eleven children?

Baalu  :    It happens when you get married. Haven’t you heard –when you are single you are ‘only one’ when you are ’two’ you become eleven  –

                                                          “ ek akella doe – 11”

Long Live Baalu Prasaar Yadav – the man with the best ‘yield-fertile’ family and ears !!!

Couldn’t stop laughing (still laughing as I type) from the beginning till the end. The Bhojpuri way of expressing the words in English is Hilarious. The satire is well reflected in your post. Keep writing… 🙂
